Jagex opened a manually updated status page listing live issues and scheduled work. It currently carries connection problems affecting world hopping, and upstream maintenance running city by city from 29 August to 24 September.
For your guild
The maintenance table is per city with times, so a clan spread across regions can tell whose ping suffers and when. The twelfth is the heavy day. Jagex updates the page by hand and says it may lag evenings and weekends, so treat it as a planning aid.
Four elemental amulets craftable from new Slayer drops give +10 Magic accuracy and +2 max hit to their spell, and combining all four covers every elemental spell. Unsireds now stack, and dying in Chambers of Xeric no longer resets the Surge potion cooldown.
For your guild
The Chambers fix removes a punishment that compounded a team wipe, so raid teams can stop planning around it. Permanent Deadman now demands 100,000 GP of risk to attack anyone and a million to enter raid areas.
Jagex rewrote the menu system from the ground up. Menus are now organised per subject, entries can be hidden individually or promoted out of submenus, and tall menus scroll by swipe on mobile.
For your guild
Settings are stored per device and some walk-here customisations do not survive the migration, so anyone playing one account on phone and desktop has two setups to redo. Third party clients are unaffected.
Nine Mad Angel combat achievements arrive, from a 25 kill count to an elite no-weapon clear. Courier tasks now pay Loot Sacks in five tiers, with each port carrying its own themed supply drop, and group storage chests work for Group Ironmen again.
For your guild
Group storage chests had been refusing Group Ironmen with a misleading Deadman message, and that is fixed, which unblocks a team that had been working around it. The achievements themselves are solo work a clan can track as a shared board.
The Guild Post gathers the latest Old School RuneScape news from Jagex and the wider community into one page — patch notes, updates, and announcements as they publish, each linking back to the original source. Weekly game updates, the community polls that gate every change, and seasonal Leagues and Deadman events.
