Call of Duty dates Season 1 as SCUM, ARK and Conan Exiles reset the servers guilds share

Share

Modern Warfare 4 went live and dated Season 1 for November 6, and ArcheAge Chronicles set its Early Access start for November 3. The rest of the week was about what a group holds in common: SCUM wiped its official servers, ARK listed several hundred inactive official servers for retirement on November 29, Conan Exiles will fold Isle of Siptah servers into the Exiled Lands, and Europa Universalis V's 1.4 asks for a fresh campaign.

Call of Duty

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is Live Worldwide — Play Now!

Modern Warfare 4 is live worldwide with 20 Multiplayer maps, a Campaign set on the Korean Peninsula and the DMZ extraction mode. Discord account linking lets players invite Discord friends from inside the game.

    • —20 maps at launch: 12 new 6v6 maps, 4 Gunfight maps, 3 Ground War maps and the Kill Block modular training facility.
    • —Players who linked Discord during the Beta must link again; the Calling Card is kept and a one-hour Double XP token is added.
    • —A Digital Standard copy can be upgraded to the Vault Edition later, but only on the platform of the original purchase.
    • —The C.O.D.E. Valor Pack is on sale from launch in Multiplayer and DMZ and reaches Warzone with Season 1.

    For your guild
Have members link Discord before the first squad night, since the in-game invite path runs through it and Beta links did not carry over. Hold off on the Vault upgrade until everyone has settled on a platform, because it cannot move.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone - Season 1

Season 1 arrives on November 6 with three launch maps, the X01 black site in DMZ, two new weapons in the Battle Pass and a catch-up system that guarantees premium pass owners at least 50 rewards. Warzone details follow on November 2.

    • —Live at midnight ET on November 6 (21:00 PT on November 5) on Steam; Shipment returns October 27, Possession on October 29 and Infected on October 30.
    • —Launch maps are Backstab, Canyon and a reimagined Shoot House; Ministry and Overflow come mid-season with Counter Attack.
    • —The Joint Fire event gives an XP boost that grows with squad size, and all squad members get Threat Briefing credit when one exfils with a Commander part.
    • —The Battle Pass is 1,100 COD Points; owners who fall behind are caught up to the reward matching the current day of the season, up to day 50.

    For your guild
Book the first full-squad session for the week of November 6: the Joint Fire boost scales with squad size and the DMZ briefings pay the whole squad. Members who join late lose little, since the catch-up system covers the first 50 days.

SCUM

  • SCUM · Gamepires

    SCUM - Halloween Update | 1.3.5.0.172191

Update 1.3.5 brought a partial wipe of the official servers, completed the server merges and retired the official Hardcore servers. The Halloween event runs until the end of November. Private and community servers are not wiped.

    • —Retained characters keep attributes, skills and gold; bases, gear, supplies, Fame Points and quest progress are reset, and cash not converted to gold is gone.
    • —One character was kept per merged server group; gold and progress from other characters were not combined.
    • —Monthly Wipe #1 Europe and US East closed without transfers; former Hardcore settings are in the updated server list for community hosts.
    • —A hotfix on October 28 addressed connection and ban-list checks that were slowing servers.

    For your guild
Squads on official servers start from a clear map this week, so pick a base site together before the land goes. Hardcore groups need a new home: either a destination official server with its rules, or a community server running the published Hardcore settings.

ARK: Survival Ascended

  • ARK: Survival Ascended · Studio Wildcard

Community Crunch 529: Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun

Fear Ascended runs from October 28 to November 11, the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade moved to November 5, and several hundred inactive official servers will be retired on November 29 after being renamed with a SUNSET prefix.

    • —The sunset list runs to several hundred servers across EU, NA, OC and Asia, PvE and PvP, on Lost Colony, Scorched Earth, Aberration, The Island, Valguero and other maps; renamed servers drop off in-game Favorites.
    • —The Giganotosaurus TLC and the Enigmasaur land with the engine upgrade; the post gives the date as November 5 in one place and November 6 in another.
    • —Private servers enable the event by adding -mods=877752 to launch arguments.
    • —Community-favourite dino colours run on the official network from November 13 to November 23 in place of boosted donation rates.

    For your guild
Check your tribe's server against the SUNSET list now; a renamed server has a month left. Private-server hosts add the mod ID before the event starts, and anyone planning around the Giganotosaurus should treat November 5 as provisional.

Old School RuneScape

  • Old School RuneScape · Jagex

    Old School Roadmap

Jagex published its roadmap through 2027. Quest Month starts November 3, Hardcore Worlds open on November 4 with a separate economy and one life, and The Chosen Commander follows this winter. 2027 entries are given by season.

    • —Spring 2027: Dungeons of Gielinor (classic dungeons with new bosses) and Menaphos with the first Skilling Dungeon.
    • —Summer 2027: Summer Sweep-Up, Mining and Smithing Reforged, and Fairytale III with a new Runecraft activity.
    • —Autumn 2027: The Tower of Xophoros, listed with no description.
    • —Community Bingo, built on the Grid Master feature, and a Diving expansion are listed for 2027 with no month.

    For your guild
Hardcore Worlds on November 4 is the date to plan around: a separate economy means a clan group starts from nothing, so decide who is going and whether to run a shared Discord channel for it. Bingo organisers can expect a native board sometime in 2027.

Halloween Event 2026, TFA Tweaks & More!

The Fractured Archive got its second week of tweaks: parties no longer disband after a wipe, Ocellus picks its tank by orb order, and team deaths now weigh more against the group's unique chance. The Halloween event ends on November 18.

    • —Ocellus tank selection follows party order from the leader down, skipping dead players; the tank hears a sound and gets a chat message.
    • —An Offensive Stat reduction cap of 50 percent was added to Ocellus, Xarth and Dreadnoth; individual deaths are less punishing, team deaths more so.
    • —Regular loot no longer posts 'very valuable' messages to Clan and Friend Chats; the Ascension Shards GE buy limit rose from 100 to 30,000.
    • —A full explanation of loot and contribution is promised for next week; significant balance changes are still on hold.

    For your guild
Raid leaders should re-brief tanks: the Ocellus tank is now whoever sits highest in the party list, so order the party deliberately. Groups that wiped and re-formed can stop doing so. Hold loot-split rules until the contribution write-up lands next week.

Conan Exiles

  • Conan Exiles · Funcom

Conan Exiles Enhanced Is Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with PC Cross-Play!

Conan Exiles Enhanced reaches PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027 as a free upgrade, with PC cross-play soon after launch. Isle of Siptah servers will merge into Exiled Lands servers, and Legacy loses official servers and the Bazaar.

    • —Part Three of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings arc arrives on November 10.
    • —Official Exiled Lands servers move from Legacy to Enhanced with characters, followers and bases intact; Siptah coordinates changed, so Siptah bases cannot be preserved.
    • —Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC and Twitch Drops carry over; Crom Coins stop working in Legacy once Enhanced releases.
    • —A save loaded in Enhanced cannot be opened in Legacy again; guidance for private-server hosts comes closer to release.

    For your guild
Clans on official Siptah servers have the decision: the base will not survive the merge, so stop investing in it and pick a site in the Exiled Lands. Console clans can tell members the upgrade is free. Schedule Part Three for November 10.

Europa Universalis V

  • Europa Universalis V · Paradox Tinto

Update 1.4 "Rio Salado" is out now!

Update 1.4 adds Expeditions, Tariffs, Canals and a Political Influence resource, changes how war leadership is assigned and rebalances cavalry. Paradox says a 1.3 save loads but recommends a new campaign. The Across the Pillars pack released alongside it.

    • —315 new Advances for Iberia and the Maghreb; Crusades and Jihads get a two-phase structure with a shared war chest.
    • —War leadership is no longer handed to the strongest country automatically; it is offered or demanded.
    • —Some Expeditions are global races where only the first nation to succeed gets the reward.
    • —Rolling back is through Steam's Game Versions and Betas tab; 1.4 Beta saves are fully compatible with live.

    For your guild
A running multiplayer campaign either rolls the host back to 1.3 to finish, or restarts on 1.4, since Paradox warns a carried save may become unrecoverable. Agree war-leadership expectations first; the strongest player no longer gets it by default.

ArcheAge Chronicles

  • ArcheAge Chronicles · Kakao Games

ArcheAge Chronicles Release Date Revealed — Pre-Orders Now Open

ArcheAge Chronicles launches on Steam in Early Access on November 3 at 3:00 PM PST. Pre-orders are open with a Dawn Pioneer costume set for one class of choice, claimed in-game once Early Access begins.

    • —Early Access start: November 3, 2026, 3:00 PM PST.
    • —The pre-order bonus is one costume set per pre-order, locked to a single class.
    • —No price, head-start window or server list is given in the announcement.

    For your guild
A guild forming for launch has six days: settle a name, who leads, and a Discord before November 3, then pick the server together on the day, since the post names none. Nothing in the announcement rewards pre-ordering as a group.

Project Zomboid

  • Project Zomboid · The Indie Stone

    Moving on Up: 42.22 Pre-Release

The Indie Stone renamed the Unstable branch to Pre-Release and put 42.22 on it, with ladders, crowbar forcing of locked doors and a batch of multiplayer fixes. Builds now sit there at least a week before reaching Stable.

    • —Opt in through Steam's Game Versions and Betas tab, under Pre-Release; back up saves first, and a Pre-Release save is not guaranteed to work on the final build.
    • —Multiplayer fixes: the duplicate-character bug, PvP damage moved server-side, faster server backups and updated anti-cheat.
    • —Crowbars force windows, doors, garage doors and gates but not security or jail doors; Strength helps and repeated failures can damage the tool.
    • —Stable stays on 42.21 for now; hotfixes may still go straight to Stable.

    For your guild
Server admins get at least a week's notice of every build from now on, so test mods on Pre-Release before Stable moves. Keep the main server on 42.21 and tell members not to opt in on their own, or they will not be able to join.

Stellaris

  • Stellaris · Paradox Development Studio

    Stellaris 4.5.3 Open Beta Released

The 4.5.3 Cygnus open beta is on the stellaris_test branch, mostly bugfixes to habitability, districts and subject jobs. Multiplayer desync checks now compare every colony, fleet, ship and country. Live release is expected next Wednesday.

    • —Betharian Processing, Exotic Gas Capture, Rare Crystal Extraction and Volatile Motes Harvesting are limited to one per planet.
    • —Occupied subject colonies no longer produce job resources for their overlord; subject jobs scale with workforce rather than pop count.
    • —Clients can now downgrade Deep Space Citadels without causing an out-of-sync.
    • —Habitability display no longer caps at 125 percent for species that reach 175 or 250.

    For your guild
Groups that lose sessions to desyncs are the audience: have one person test the beta branch this week and plan the next session after the live release. The one-per-planet limit on strategic resource buildings changes build orders.

Hearts of Iron IV

  • Hearts of Iron IV · Paradox Development Studio

Hearts of Iron IV | QoL Patch Notes 1.19.4

Patch 1.19.4 adds automation for resource trading and diplomatic responses, a repair priority queue and volunteer recall, and folds in the Summer Edition open beta's tank, doctrine and faction-rule balance changes.

    • —Faction-rule penalties halved: Declare War Faction Leader Only now costs 5 percent Stability and War Support (was 10); Call to War costs 5 and 2.5 percent political power (were 10 and 5).
    • —Volunteers can be recalled when none are encircled, with a long cooldown; pings now show the sending nation's flag.
    • —SAM missiles are roughly nine times stronger; motorized infantry HP rises from 25 to 27.5 and cavalry gains 20 percent breakthrough.
    • —Multiplayer fixes include the division designer losing changes on autosave, a BBA rocket-engine out-of-sync, and server ID and password masking.

    For your guild
House rules written around faction-rule penalties need a reread, since the costs halved. Expect tank templates to shift and SAM-heavy air defence to matter; give players a week on the new checksum before a competitive game starts.

Guild of the Week·World of Warcraft: Forever

HADAL

EU · hadal.guildorder.com

HADAL returns to the card a month on, now a week from the World of Warcraft: Forever launch event it has been counting down to on its journal since the beta. The site is a deep-sea scene in navy and gold, and it publishes the rules of the house before anyone has held a rank.

  • ◆A charter block on the front page that states the culture (EU late night, voice always, 21 and over), the tryout rule and a plain list of what the guild does not do
  • ◆A three-step application page that promises an answer either way and says what happens if the roster is full
  • ◆The full chain of command published as named tiers before a single rank is held, with the line that rank is earned by playing
  • ◆A journal that pairs each entry with the next dated milestone, from the beta on September 17 to the launch event on November 4

For your guild
Worth a look if your guild is forming up for a launch rather than running live content. HADAL's front page says what it will not tolerate, how a tryout works and what happens after you apply, which is the part most recruitment pages leave for Discord.
