Gamescom week fixes four autumn dates, two of them October 15

Share

Bohemia dated DayZ Badlands and Keen Games dated Enshrouded 1.0, both to October 15. Funcom and World's Edge both picked September 22, for the Dune: Awakening console launch and the Age of Empires II Viking Sagas DLC. Myth of Empires opens its third season on September 3. ARK, 7 Days to Die and Old School RuneScape shipped this week.

Mark the calendar

  • Oct 15Enshrouded Enshrouded leaves early access at 1.0, on the same day as DayZ Badlands.

Autumn fills up

  • DayZ · Bohemia Interactive

    DayZ Badlands | Coming October 15, 2026

Bohemia showed a Nasdara teaser at Gamescom and put a date on DayZ Badlands: October 15, 2026. The studio labels everything shown as work in progress.

    For your guild
A firm date is enough to start planning around, but nothing beyond it is settled. Wishlisting costs nothing; committing a community server roadmap to Nasdara does, and there is still no word on how Badlands sits alongside the DayZ servers a clan already runs.

  • Enshrouded · Keen Games

We're still cooking for 1.0. Here's some news you may have missed!

Keen Games confirmed October 15 for the Enshrouded 1.0 release and spent the update on what is being reworked rather than added. Performance on lower and mid-range machines is the second big push before launch.

    For your guild
The same day as DayZ Badlands, worth noticing if the same members play both. The performance work is the practical part: members previously locked out by their hardware may be able to join the 1.0 server, so ask who is in before sizing it.

  • Dune: Awakening · Funcom

Filmic Archive DLC, and Cross-Play Confirmed for Post Console Launch

Funcom dated the Dune: Awakening console launch to September 22, arriving with a single-player mode, the story conclusion and the Filmic Archive DLC at $9.99. Cross-play is confirmed for after console launch, with no date.

    For your guild
Cross-play is the part that decides whether a guild can recruit off PC, and it carries no date. Console members joining on September 22 will be on their own servers until it lands, so hold off on restructuring around a mixed-platform roster.

  • Age of Empires II: DE · World's Edge

Pre-Order Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - The Viking Sagas

World's Edge dated The Viking Sagas to September 22, with the Danes, Saxons and Varangians as playable civilisations plus a fifteen mission Harald Hardrada campaign. Pre-orders are open at a 15 percent discount.

    For your guild
Three civilisations entering the pool changes what turns up in lobbies and on the ladder from September 22, and only owners can play them. A group that drafts civilisations together should decide whether it is buying as a block before the date, not after.

Live now

  • ARK: Survival Ascended · Studio Wildcard

Astraeos Heaven & Abyss Update is now live!

Astraeos reaches 1.0 with Heaven and the Abyss: a floating-island region, a deep-sea map with air-bubble build space, rolling wave mechanics, the Trireme warship, two Kraken boss fights and the Colossus and Kroaratos minibosses.

    For your guild
Underwater build space and working seas move a tribe's base decisions off land, and the Trireme needs a crew rather than a rider. The two Kraken fights want different kit: one is underwater, one at the surface.

  • 7 Days to Die · The Fun Pimps

    V3.2.0 Stable

Version 3.2.0 is stable. Auto turrets no longer support stability and can no longer be placed on walls, trader doors open to a vehicle horn, and the combine station now shows the resulting stats before a player commits.

    For your guild
Wall-mounted turrets across an existing co-op base stop being placeable and no longer hold structure up, so a base built around them needs re-checking before the next horde night rather than during it.

  • Old School RuneScape · Jagex

    Mad Angel Combat Achievements

Nine Mad Angel combat achievements arrive, from a 25 kill count to an elite no-weapon clear. Courier tasks now pay Loot Sacks in five tiers, with each port carrying its own themed supply drop, and group storage chests work for Group Ironmen again.

    For your guild
Group storage chests had been refusing Group Ironmen with a misleading Deadman message, and that is fixed, which unblocks a team that had been working around it. The achievements themselves are solo work a clan can track as a shared board.

  • Conan Exiles · Funcom

    August Hotfix

Hotfix 2.1.1 cleans up after the 2.1.0 patch. Bazaar purchases lost to a clock sync issue are fixed, the Ferine Stalker Staff no longer drops outside Head Hunter, and redirectors were added to stop some mods crashing on load.

    For your guild
Modded servers are the ones to update first, since the crash-on-load fix is what the hotfix is for. Nothing here changes how the Head Hunter event plays out to its August 30 close.

Seasons about to open

  • Myth of Empires · Angela Game

Myth of Empires: Throne S3: Era of the Shattered Seas Launches September 3!

Throne Season 3 starts September 3 at 14:00 UTC, with character pre-creation from August 31. It adds the Shattered Isles, where bosses spawn at random times and the top three guilds by damage take season points.

    For your guild
Damage-ranked bosses make season points a guild output rather than an individual one, so who shows up decides the placing. Buildings on the isles decay faster and territory markers cannot be placed, so treat any presence there as temporary.

  • Arc Raiders · Embark Studios

    Store Update 1.43.0

Store update 1.43.0 adds the Roamer set and runs the Phantom Targets event until September 6, paying the Anomalia outfit and raider tokens for hunting glitched Wasps. Embark also warned that account sharing now carries a ban risk under its anti-cheat work.

    For your guild
The account-sharing warning is the one to pass on: if someone else plays on a member's account and is caught cheating, the account is banned regardless of who did it. Squads that share logins to cover a raid should stop.

Under the hood

  • Counter-Strike 2 · Valve

    Counter-Strike 2 Update

Valve added a custom_hud_layout entity, letting scripted maps draw their own panels, labels and buttons with CSS styling. A cs_player_camera entity takes over a player's view without moving them, plus new bomb plant and defuse hooks.

    For your guild
This is for the people who run a community server, not the people who play on it. A map maker can now build a scoreboard, a shop or a round overlay into the map itself, which is what a custom game mode has been missing. Nothing changes for matchmaking.

  • EVE Online · CCP Games

    Evolution, not revolution

The second HUD blog sets out the rework: speed controls leave the medallion, the capacitor gains a gauge showing gain and loss rate, and rack heat moves beside the racks. CCP will ship it opt-in first, then opt-out, then as default.

    For your guild
Fleet commanders call targets on muscle memory, and this moves the pieces they read under pressure. The opt-in phase is a corp's window to put a few pilots on the new HUD before it reaches a fleet op. No date, so nothing to schedule.
