Enshrouded

Keen Games released Enshrouded 1.0 on October 15, finishing the map with a northern region, Cinder's Cradle, and closing the main story. It also adds Sparkworks, a logic system for player-built content, and a mage overhaul.

• —Cinder's Cradle opens past the Veilwater Basin with a new faction of 14 enemy types; two more Hollow Halls open in the Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin.
• —The player level cap rises to 50, gear upgrades to 55, and the Flame Altar limit goes up.
• —Hosts set one default permission level for joining players, then promote or demote each player, and the role is remembered on rejoin. Dedicated servers keep the old password groups.
• —A new Automatic server setting scales enemy counts to party size, and admins see each joining player's permission level in chat.

Keen Games' launch FAQ confirms Early Access owners keep the game and their saves, which convert to a new format, though the studio recommends starting over. Cross-platform play is not in at launch and has no estimate.

• —PC owners from Early Access do not buy the game again.
• —Early Access saves carry over and are converted; the world and opening hours changed enough that Keen recommends a fresh start.
• —Three decorative base props go to Early Access owners through Redeem Add-Ons in the escape menu, and can be claimed more than once.
• —A veteran can place the props in a newer player's world; that player can remove them but not place them.

Keen Games confirmed October 15 for the Enshrouded 1.0 release and spent the update on what is being reworked rather than added. Performance on lower and mid-range machines is the second big push before launch.
