AION 2 opens Advanced Access on September 30 as ARK moves its engine upgrade to October 28

Share

AION 2 opens its Advanced Access servers on September 30, with faction pairings already posted and a global launch on October 5. ARK keeps its September 30 creature drop but moves the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade to October 28, and EVE Online runs GM Week through Friday. This issue also opens From the Guild Halls, starting with HADAL, a World of Warcraft: Forever guild.

Aion 2

  • Aion 2 · NCSOFT Corporation

    Advanced Access Servers

NCSOFT posted the Advanced Access schedule and server line-up. Each server holds one faction, and every Elyos server is paired with an Asmodian one for shared PvP spaces such as the Abyss.

    • —Advanced Access runs from September 30 at 13:00 UTC to October 5 at 05:00 UTC, for Founder's Pack owners.
    • —Maintenance follows from 05:00 to 13:00 UTC on October 5, then the global launch at 13:00 UTC.
    • —Players pick a region, then a faction, then a server. Europe, NA East and Latin America open several servers; NA West and Asia one pair each.
    • —Pre-downloaded files are encrypted and decrypt on September 30, which is not a reinstall.

    For your guild
Pick the guild's region, faction and server before the 30th and tell members the exact name, since a server holds one faction and a split roster cannot regroup. Pre-download now so the decrypt is the only wait.

  • Aion 2 · NCSOFT Corporation

    Advanced Access Server Matchmaking

The first cross-faction pairings are out: the Elyos and Asmodian servers you meet in the Abyss and Spacetime Rifts come from your matched server, and NCSOFT will reshuffle the pairings periodically to balance the factions.

    • —Europe opens four pairs, starting with Siel against Israphel.
    • —NA East and Latin America open two pairs each; NA West and Asia one.
    • —Pairings change over time, so today's rival server is not permanent.

    For your guild
Your PvP rivals are set by the pairing, not by choice, so read who your server faces before picking it. Treat any alliance or grudge plan as provisional until the pairings settle.

ARK: Survival Ascended

  • ARK: Survival Ascended · Studio Wildcard

Community Crunch 525: An Appetite for Destruction

Community Crunch 525 confirms the September 30 creature drop and moves the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade to October 28, with a public test realm first.

    • —Gargantar arrives on September 30 for ARK: Dragontopia owners, alongside Cerberax and the Therizinosaurus TLC.
    • —The UE 5.8 test client opens on Steam on October 5; the full upgrade lands on all platforms on October 28.
    • —Mod cooking servers go offline on October 5 for a recook, and modding reopens on October 28.
    • —The Power Rangers premium mods leave the store after September 30.

    For your guild
Keep the 30th for taming, but the engine upgrade is not that day, so hold mod and server-config testing for the October 5 test realm. Guilds on modded servers should expect mods to be offline from the 5th to the 28th.

EVE Online

  • EVE Online · CCP Games

    GM Week is upon us!

GM Week runs from September 28 to October 2, with roaming GMs, password-protected loot containers found through a stream, and assets seized from banned accounts spilling out of abandoned Upwell structures.

    • —Loot-stuffed Upwell structures in Yulai, Tarta, Emsar and Pakhshi go abandoned around 17:00 UTC on September 28 and around midnight UTC on October 2.
    • —OnlyCans streams hide containers in space twice a day; the first player to reach one and solve its password wins it.
    • —A lore pub quiz runs on Twitch on September 30 at 16:00 UTC.

    For your guild
The Friday Whack-a-Pinata is a corp night if you want one: fleet up near a structure system before midnight UTC. Cosmetics and a little PLEX are the prize, so nothing here changes doctrine.

Project Zomboid

  • Project Zomboid · The Indie Stone

    Build 42.21 Stable Released

Build 42.21 is now on the stable branch, after a week on the unstable beta. It targets zombie duplication and disappearing zombies, most visible on high-population servers.

    • —Fixes zombies duplicating in multiplayer and vanishing when a player leaves and re-enters a chunk.
    • —XXL trees cut away better for players in vehicles and no longer hide houses they overhang.
    • —The loadstring and loadstream Lua methods, disabled in 42.20.4, are enabled again.

    For your guild
Server admins can update and re-enable any mods that broke on 42.20.4's Lua change. Hardcore groups on dense zombie settings get the most from this build, though the Indie Stone says a few duplication cases remain.

Valheim

  • Valheim · Coffee Stain Publishing

    Patch 1.0.16

Patch 1.0.16 fixes terrain edits reverting in the Deep North and raids that spawned far too many enemies. It reaches every platform over a few days, and crossplay keeps working in the meantime.

    • —Terrain modifications in the Deep North no longer revert after the area unloads; old seams may need a pickaxe, hoe or a walk over the snow.
    • —Raids no longer spawn excessive enemies.
    • —Deep North boss-fight spawns no longer appear outside the arena.

    For your guild
Walk your Deep North base after updating and patch any terrain seams by hand. A mixed-platform group can keep playing together while the patch rolls out.

Pax Dei

  • Pax Dei · Mainframe Industries

    R48 Patch 1 - Build 175589

R48 Patch 1, deployed on September 28, is a stability patch: server and client crash fixes, and a fix for Blessings and Favors being lost after teleporting.

    • —Blessings and Favors now survive teleporting and Petra Mea.
    • —The Hidden Compass setting no longer hides the PvP indicator.
    • —Fixes two server crashes, one in world streaming and one on discovering Fast Travel points.

    For your guild
Buff before a trip again: teleporting no longer strips Blessings and Favors. Members who hid the compass will see the PvP indicator again.

DayZ

  • DayZ · Bohemia Interactive

DayZ Badlands | Dev Blog (Week 86) | Lizard and Dogs | Wishlist now!

Dev Blog 8 introduces the wildlife of Nasdara: the mouflon, the desert monitor lizard and, for the first time in DayZ, territorial dogs that guard fixed locations.

    • —Packs of Dobermans and German Shepherds guard specific locations, mainly military zones, and attack anyone who enters.
    • —The dogs cannot be tamed.
    • —The desert monitor lives around the Dasht-e Sarman Desert and can be hunted for food.

    For your guild
Plan military-zone runs as a group once Badlands is out: the loot sites now come with a guard pack. Bohemia says the details can still change before release.

Squad

  • Squad · Offworld Industries

Community Development Team - Progress Report

The Community Development Team's progress report puts a Party System in the next update, with in-game hubs called Companies to follow.

    • —A Party System arrives with the next update.
    • —Companies, described as in-game hubs, are planned for the near future.
    • —AAS, RAAS and Insurgency are under review for rework, and an experimental HOTAS build is coming.

    For your guild
Companies are the feature to watch for a standing clan, but they carry no date. Hold off restructuring until the Party System ships and shows how grouping works.

Apex Legends

  • Apex Legends · Electronic Arts

    Apex Legends: Latest Update 9/28/2026

Respawn restored the Core Wildcard mode alongside Apex KO last week and warns that queues in both run longer, worst in high-skill lobbies.

    • —Core Wildcard is back beside Apex KO.
    • —The longest successful queues run around 2.5 to 3.5 minutes, in the highest-skill lobbies.

    For your guild
A high-skill squad should expect a few minutes per queue in either mode, so pad scrim warm-ups accordingly.

HADAL

EU · hadal.guildorder.com

An EU World of Warcraft: Forever community built around PvP rank, with competitive raiding splits running alongside it. The site reads like a harbor town at dusk and puts the application one click from the front door.

  • ◆Ranks and ladders on public pages, so standing is visible without a login
  • ◆A Recent Awards page that shows who the guild recognizes and why
  • ◆A guild wiki alongside announcements and events

For your guild
Worth a look if your guild runs more than one group under one banner. HADAL keeps its ranks, ladders, and awards public, so a recruit can see how the place works before they ever fill in the form.

How To: Guild Order – Comprehensive Guide To One Of The Leading MMO Planners On The Web

By Elenestra on standards.gg · September 12, 2026

A start-to-finish walkthrough written from inside a working guild: setting up, bringing people in, keeping everyone on the same page, and tracking how the guild is doing over a season. Illustrated throughout with screenshots of the pages it describes.

For your guild
The guide we would hand an officer on day one. It follows the order a new guild actually meets things, from the first roster to recruitment to the end-of-season recap, and it is honest about which parts matter for a casual group and which for a hardcore one.
