    Rush Hour

    Counter-Strike 2 adds Rush, a queued 3v3 mode played across a gauntlet of randomly selected battle arenas. The same update changes Premier map selection to a pick system, brings back clan tags, and adds a slower silent reload.

    • —Rush is a 3v3 mode: win a round by holding the tower after eliminating the enemy team or when time expires, and advance through randomly chosen arenas to take the enemy castle.
    • —Premier now has each team pick two maps, after which one of the four is chosen at random, instead of banning down to a single map.
    • —Clan tags return: select a Steam Group in your profile to show a tag next to your name in every mode.
    • —Reloading can be done silently by holding the reload key, at the cost of a longer reload, and unscoping is now silent.

    For your guild
    Rush gives a small group a real queue for the nights a full five is not online. Clan tags coming back is a free way to make a guild visible in every lobby, so agree on one Steam Group for members to set as their tag.

    The International Main Event

    Eight teams survived the group stage. The double elimination bracket starts at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai on August 20 and ends in a best-of-five Grand Finals on August 23, with matches beginning at 10 AM China Standard Time each day.

    For your guild
    Nothing here changes how the game plays. It is a fixed four-day schedule in a known time zone, which is all a clan needs to put a watch night in the calendar and to know that the usual scrim slots will be thinly attended.
